7 Day Diet
Instructions
Day
One
Soup and fruit.
You can eat as much cabbage soup and fruit as you like for the
entire day. Black teas, coffees and unsweetened cranberry juice
or water is fine for drinks.(Exclude Bananas from your fruit
choice)
Day
Two
Soup and
vegetables. Again you can eat as many vegetables as you like
excluding: corn, beans and peas. No fruit today but you can
indulge with a baked potato and butter for dinner. Drinks as
per day one.
Day Three
Soup, vegetables
and fruit. This is a combined day of days one and two,
excluding the baked potato. Don't forget your cabbage soup.
Drinks as per day one.
Day
Four
Soup, skim milk
and bananas. Eat as much as 8 bananas today with unlimited
glasses of skim milk and your cabbage soup. Drinks as per
usual.
Day
Five
Soup, beef and
tomatoes. Yummy! You can have as much as 10 - 20 ounces of beef
today along with 5 - 6 fresh tomatoes. If you don't like or eat
beef you can opt for skinless chicken - no skin! Try to have a
least one serving of cabbage soup. Drinks as per usual. Special
note: Do try to drink 6 - 8 glasses of water today, it will
help flush some of the acid from the tomatoes.
Day
Six
Soup, beef and
vegetables. This is a great day! You can have at least 2 -3
steaks with unlimited vegetables excluding potatoes. Again try
to have at least one serving of soup and drinks as per day
one.
Day
Seven
Thank Goodness!
Soup, brown rice and vegetables. You can have as much as you
like. Just make sure you include a serving of cabbage soup. You
can even have natural fruit juice today.
As you can see
there is plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables on this 7 Day
Diet. Don't forget you cannot under any circumstances continue
on to day eight! You must give your body a break from this diet
for at least 2 - 3 weeks. Overall it is extremely low in
protein, vitamins and minerals not to mention complex carbs. Do
not recommend or give this diet to a child or a teenager, it
should only be used for a adult who has received the advice of
a doctor or physician.
The 7
Day Diet Cabbage Soup Recipe
6 - 7 Large
onions
2 Green
Peppers
1 Bunch
Celery
3 - 4
Carrots
1 Cup of
Mushrooms
Half to a whole
head of Cabbage
2 Cans
Tomatoes
2 Cubes of
Seasoning
1 can V8 juice
(optional)
Season with curry
powder, salt, pepper and herbs etc
Instructions
Prepare, clean
and dice all of your vegetables. Use a slow cooker or large pot
and fill with 12 cups of water. Add your vegetables, seasonings
and juice. Put the lid on and slowly cook the soup for 2 - 3
hours or more until your vegetables are tender or to your
liking. Store in the fridge over the next 7 days and heat
through as required.
The 7 Day Diet is
extremely low in fat but high in fibre. This is one of the main
reasons why you cannot sustain this diet for more than seven
days at a time. Use this diet as a starting point to achieving
your weight loss goals.
