7 Day Diet Part 1
The most
requested 7 Day Diet to date would have to be the Cabbage Soup
Diet. It was originally created for hospital patients requiring
emergency surgery. Some how or another it made its way to the
internet, book stores and libraries etc. I suppose it does have
popular interest not only because of the weight you are able to
lose in a short amount of time but also the cost of the diet is
extremely low. If you compare the costs of Jenny Craig, Weight
Watchers and SureSlim, this 7 Day Diet is definitely gentle on
your wallet!
You can lose up to 11 pounds
on this 7 Day Diet, not that I deem this to be safe weight
loss. So you would need to consult a doctor or physician before
starting. It is only recommended that you partake in the
program for 1 week at a time with a gap of 2-3 weeks in
between. It mainly consists of vegetables, some fruit and
heavier food items such as beef and potato towards the end.
This 7 Day Diet is extremely hard because the main staple part
of the diet is a soup that is made from a base of
cabbage.
This diet could be used as a
starting point for a more permanent healthy weight loss plan.
You may want to consider taking a multi vitamin or supplement
full of additional nutrients and minerals. The diet does have
some cons because you might suffer sides effects such as
fatigue or you may become light headed and irritable, hopefully
the vitamins or supplements will help ease the symptoms. You
can also get really sick of the cabbage soup itself, so adding
spices such as curry powder to taste, tends to add a bit more
flavor. Try to stay motivated by knowing that the diet is only
for seven days.
There are a number of other 7
Day Diets such as the liver cleansing technique. Although not
all liver cleansing diets are designed for weight loss you can
lose a substantial amount of weight whilst purifying your
organs from the inside. Sometimes we tend to put our body's
through the ringer with the food options we chose. Continued
use of alcohol and cigarettes, lack of sleep or vitamins and
supplements are all time bombs waiting to happen. A liver
cleansing diet can help reverse some the damage.
Remember that this diet isn't
the long term answer to your weight loss management. Sensible
and realistic goals will see you through to achieving what you
want. Setting your expectations too high may leave you feeling
like you haven't achieved enough weight loss. In these
situations many dieters tend to give up. The 7 Day Diet is a
rapid weight loss method and isn't something you should sustain
over a longer period of time, other than the 7 Days stated. You
will have a much higher chance of success for the future if you
chose realistic objectives. And further more you will improve
your health.
