These are a combination of a stair climber and a rowing
machine all in one. I guess the most appealing selling point
are the benefits of getting a upper and lower body workout
all at the same time.
Exercise Bike
Extremely great on the lower body, but don't be expecting
fantastic results on your upper body. Indoor bikes will help
you build lean strong legs, but be careful here and balance out
your exercise plan. Otherwise you may end up bulking your
legs more than you wanted to. Again prices will vary depending
on the functions and resistance levels.
Rowing Machines
Another popular piece of weight loss and exercise equipment
is the rowing machine. As expected you will be able to get a
great workout for your upper body but not as much on your lower
body. You can balance this out by sharing the resistance
between your legs and arms. Unless you have owned one it is a
bit hard to sort of understand what I mean. Basically you can
push from your legs and pull with your arms. This way your arms
don't have to work as hard and your legs enjoy the benefits.
Rowing machines are fantastic for your abdominal area. I
have owned all of the machines above, the rowing machine would
have to be my favorite.
Weight loss and exercise can be a lot of fun, especially if
you chose variety in your workout. Personal trainers and gym
memberships will more than likely cost you additional
money over time. But they have the benefits of keeping you
motivated. Sustained weight loss can take months and if this is
the case for you, purchasing your own equipment could be your
best option. Don't forget to check your local newspapers and
auction sites because many people upgrade their weight loss and
exercise equipment. You can therefore get some affordable
deals for relatively lower prices.
